Hey guys! First off I think it would be really cool if you helped out :iconericana: She was accepted to a college in England (yay!), but now she needs to come up with the money she needs to go. She is up for a $1,000 scholarship and you can vote for her here [link]

k so, I read a really, really good book called "Memoirs of A Teenage Amnesiac" yesterday. I was very happy to have finally found a decent book. I'm such a picky reader, and I have a hard time finding books that I actually like. haha, then once I find a book I like, I overindulge and read the whole thing in one sitting. I can't make good books last.

Well on another note, I experienced the most embarrassing moment of my life on saturday. I play piano, and I made up my very own composition to play at a recital for all the parents and teachers. I was pretty happy with it, and I practiced a ton for about two weeks before the recital. Then I got up there and that damn piano was out of tune in many of the sharp and flat keys (which were used in about 75% of my song). I completely blew it. The first ten seconds of the song were fine, but after that it was completely terrible. I tried to fix it for like a minute while I was pretty much just hitting random keys that didnt sound completely terrible but the sound didnt even remotely resemble my song. And of course my face was contorted into complete confusion as to why the keys were all wrong. Then my hands started getting really shaky and it was a disaster after that. I was up there for two minutes top before I just ended my suffering and transitioned my song to an end, but it felt like forever. Gahhh, I was absoulutly mortified, especially since I was one of the oldest performers there and I'm the only one who completely butchered my piece. Of course everyone told me I did a good job and other crap like that. I knew they were just trying to be nice but it made me feel worse. Fortunatly, I have the greatest best friends a girl could ask for. I wrote them a message first thing when I got home and they made me feel a heck of a lot better. I still think it will be really hard to walk into piano practice tommorow night though :hmm:

Enough about me. I decided to feature :iconseascape21: this week. She's a great photographer and an even better person. :)

When I first read this, I stopped at "I shot them" for some reason and was like :O.

Yes, I voted for :iconericana:. YAY!

I wish you best of luck at piano practice tomorrow. Just relax, stay positive and confident, and everything will be okay.

Once I was in a fifth grade play with the longest speaking role, and halfway through my speech, I forget my lines and :iconfacepalmplz: - I even said, "Oh, I forgot it" into the microphone. I was extremely embarrassed. I could have died right on stage. Not literally, unless there was an assassin in the crowd. But, I lived, and I'm fine now *eye twitch (jk)*

What I'm trying to say is, roll with the punches, when you're knocked down, get back up, that's what friends and family are there for. To help you.

Sorry for the long, somewhat cliché motivational speech, but I know how you feel.

Take care :hug::glomp::iconpancakeglompplz::iconnewglomp::iconkillthatwithfire:

P.S. Yay for the greatest best friends ever who made you feel a heck of a lot better.

P.P.S. If people make fun of you, you could always punch them, violence is never the answer, but... [dun - dun - DUN! *awkward silence* *crickets*]

hahahaha, thats really funny. I definetly didnt notice that before. I just changed it from "shot" to "sent" so that it would be less confusing.

Thanks for the long somewhat cliche motivational speech:) other people's embarrassing stories actually help me get over mine. Yours is actually probably worse than mine though :P so I feel a lot better.

Also, Im not really scared of actually practicing piano tommorow I just dont really want to see the people (other than my piano teacher) who saw me mess up. I dont think anyone other than my sister will make fun of me though. Everyone was really nice about it. It just annoys me that they probably, I dunno, like pitty me or something. My piano teacher is awesome though so Im not scared of what she thinks or anything. Im pretty sure she wont tell me how "good" I did either so that makes me happy. Im sure this wont even cross my mind in a few weeks though.

Yeah, my best friends are amazingly awesome! I dont know what Id do without them. I'm glad you voted for *Ericana. Im sure she is very grateful!

Have a great week Zach!!:iconpancakeglompplz:

My story was probably worse than a lot of people's. But, you know, I tell them that story so they'll get a good laugh and hopefully not be so hard on themselves. Everybody forgot about my not-so-little blunder within the week, and went about their lives. I'm glad I made you feel better .

Do you ever notice that it's always family members that never let up one mistake you make for a very long time, that is, if they let up at all? Family works in strange ways. :P Why must they torture us? Because they <sarcasm>love</sarcasm> us (*commencing evil cackling*)

Have a great week too Cassie!
